Aims & Requirements:
The course is a seminar for postgraduates that major in Operational research and cybernetics, and could also serve as an optional course for students of other related majors. The seminars are mainly about intensive reading and in-class discussion. The reading materials are major papers centering on the new theories, algorithm and applications of Stochastic Queuing Networks. Through the course, students are exposed to the edging approaches of Stochastic Queuing Networks and related research field, and are supposed to grasp the basic methodology and techniques of Stochastic Queuing Networks and related research field, thus to lay foundation for students to conduct theoretical and practical research for related theses.
Primary Coverage:
To arrange materials for intensive reading and discussions accord to the latest development of the discipline.
